Starting from scratch lesson 2

Hey guys of the internet and welcome back to starting from scratch part 2. Today you will learn about sprites and the code blocks. If you enjoy this series be sure to leave a comment!

Sprites are the objects which you can code. In most games they are characters. You start of with the famous orange cat. If you don't like him you can choose from many sprites or upload your own, even make your own! To do so click the buttons below the coordinates. The far left one will take you to the sprite page which have at-least 50 sprites, then theres the upload your own. Lastly the make your own button.

Your " coding blocks " are the little block looking thingys that code the game. They are just basically simplified code. In the 2.0 update there are 10 different types of blocks. There is:

Motion

Looks

Sound

Pen

Data

Events

Control

Sensing

Operators and more blocks.

In this part we will talk about motion, next week we will talk about the rest. Motion is the movement of your sprite. These are the blocks you can code with, move ()* steps, turn () degrees, point in direction (), point towards ^*, go towards x: () y:(), go to ^ glide () secs to x: () y: (), change x by (), set x to (), change y by (), set y to (), if on edge bounce, set rotation style ^.

* , choose number to put in

^, pop-down menu with options.

So like i said before the motion blocks are the movement of your character.

Thats all for today so have a nice day!

Goat simulator for iOS

Goats.... Goats, hey guys of the internet Casber5007 here and I'm in Bali! Back to reviews! On my 2nd day in Bali we reached 500 views, in less then a month of operating! So thank you very much! But back to goats! Goat Simulator for ios is just like the little brother to the PC version, the differences are tiny. Pocket edition doesn't include the gravity testing facility. It was my favourite!  :,(... And it also doesn't have the second map. One really useful feature is a button up on the top right which allows the player to change his goat! My favourite goat is the queen goat. Because ( spoiler alert! ) if you go to the top of the big mountain behind the pool you will find a weird circle with the queen goats face on it. It will tell you to press the pow button. Goats will fall and that lets you gain an extra power! It allows all near by move able objects to hover in front of your over sized horns. Features like this make the game so weird but truely wonderful. The developer...
