As you should know as a gamer Minecraft is one of the biggest games of all time, And with the new 1.8 bountiful update it adds in heaps of new exiting features that make the game better. One thing that annoyed me was that it took just under 1 year days for this update to come but it's here now so I'm glad and I hope you are to!
Features...
Villages now harvest / plant crops so they can eat them, new game mode called spectator which makes you invisible and you can fly through blocks, new achievement, added new world type named customised which allows you to customise your world, new " secret " world type named debug that allows you to see all secret blocks, using a command worlds can now have a border , 10 new commands, 3 new statistics, skins can now have 2 layers so you can have half one skin and half another, new player model with shorter arms called Alex, difficulty can now be different each save and can be locked, enchantments now need laptiz but are cheaper in xp, villager trading redone So it's now cheaper, anvil repair cheaper and easier, f3 screen tweaked, buttons now go on the ceiling too, sheep now drop mutton, lots more features, removed Herobrine. ( hopefully!! )
Blocks…
Sea lanterns and prismarine which can be found in the new sea temples. Prismarine is also dropped from guardians. iron trap door are just like wooden but need a redstone signal, slime blocks are a block you can bounce on. If you hold shift while dropping you will immediately stop instead of bouncing, red sandstone is exactly the same as normal sandstone but is red. It's chiseled sandstone is also a wither instead of a creeper, banners which can be hung. Put dye in the crafting table in certain Pattern to make different colours , armour stands which can hold your armour and pumpkins / heads, course dirt is like dirt but with a different texture and does not grow grass, mossy / chiseled stone are now craftible, now doors come in all the types of wood, same with fence / fence gates.
Mobs...
Rabbits are now out and drop rabbit hide which can be turned into leather, raw rabbit which can be cooked and eaten, it's rare drop is rabbits foot which can be used to make a potion of leaping. Guardians protect there underwater dungeons and can harm you by sending out a rope looking thing. Endermites are little bugs like silver fish and spawn occasionally when you throw a ender pearls and when a enderman teleports.
